Bespoke software (also called custom software) is built from scratch for one business, rather than bought as a ready-made product. Instead of bending your process around whatever a generic tool allows, the software is shaped around your exact workflow, data and customers.
You own it outright. There are no per-seat licences creeping up every year, no features you pay for but never open, and no vendor deciding to retire the product you depend on.
The trade-off is a higher upfront cost than a subscription, which is why the honest answer is that bespoke is not always the right choice. The comparison below is the one I walk every prospective client through.
